You may be aware that Microsoft has released the next version of its popular browser, Internet Explorer 7. The new version provides many improvements over the previous version, Internet Explorer 6, such as a new look, tabbed browsing allowing multiple websites to be opened in one window and improved security and protection for phishing and malicious websites.

As a valued customer we are always looking for ways to improve our products and services for you. Therefore we are pleased to announce we are moving our hosted websites and email accounts to new servers to benefit from increased performance and faster speeds. The new servers will also benefit from improved 24/7 management teams and monitoring systems to ensure any issues are either dealt with before they affect you or dealt with immediately.

Migration will take place during the night of Wednesday 9th August 2006 and will take approximately 30 minutes. You will not experience any downtime during the move. Your websites will remain live and function accordingly.

Note: In order to help us migrate smoothly please can you not update your content managed websites between the hours 10pm Wednesday 9th August and 6am Thursday 10th August.

Any websites that collect data or orders from visitors, such as shopping cart systems, will not be affected either. All customer data and orders placed during the move will be available on the new servers.

Following the migration it may be possible some emails sent to your email accounts may arrive on the old server. Therefore we will be issuing instructions to those of you with email accounts to login and check for any email messages sent to the old server. This ensures no emails are affected during the migration.

After much research and user response we decided to revamp the Infocom Online website. We wanted to be able to provide a more clear and user friendly website pleasing to the eye and enjoyable to navigate.
